Gentry

Gentry was our 2nd swissy and is the foundation of our breeding program. She was an amazing dog - a wonderful working dog that was willing to try anything you asked. She loved to play with her balls, was ever so gentle with her plush toys and loved to nurse on them, was an awesome swimmer that adored being in the water, and was an overall confident, goofy, happy girl. She didn't immediately adore every stranger she met...but, once she knew you...you were her best friend!

Almost all of her children and grandchildren have been wonderful working dogs as well...she truly stamped a strong desire to please in her offspring and I have been thrilled to see this come through in so many generations.

She went to live 'temporarily' with the Wolfe's around age 6.5 when they lost one of her grandpuppies unexpectedly...temporary turned into permanent when she made the decision that she liked being the sole center of attention there and lived with them her last four years. Without Gentry there would be no 'Cherished Swissies' and we are so fortunate to have an amazing legacy of dogs that she has given us.
