Gracie is the single puppy in the Memories 'litter' - she received her name in memory of Doug's first dog of his own...a beautiful weimaraner. Doug and I met at the dog park and if not for Gracie (and Monty & Gentry) we would never have even met each other.

Gracie is quite full of herself and is an extremely confident puppy! She will walk over any surface, investigates everything, and will check out anything and everything, nothing scares her. She loves to meet new people and already as a puppy wants to be the boss of every new dog she meets. She has a big mouth and an even bigger personality. She is quite a handful but we absolutely adore her!

She had only walked on leash 2x prior to the SwissAthlon and went into the ring and took Best of Opposite puppy in match. At the Independent following the 2016 GSMDCA National she won 1st in her sweeps class - she won 2nd in her BBE & sweeps class at the NS. She also won a big 4 point major at the Clermont all breed show following the CRSC Specialty.

She is everything you could ask for in a working dog - she has truly excelled in everything you ask her to try. She's a naturally talented herding dog and the one who helps me move our sheep on the farm when needed - she earned her Novice OB title quickly as a very young dog with nice scores - she is a natural at weight pulling - a wonderful drafting dog she earned her MDD without ever having an NQ. A super smart and confident girl she is willing to try anything you ask of her!

Gracie got to show as a veteran for the first time at the 2022 GSMDCA National Specialty - after not being in the show ring for several years she walked back in and owned it with a 2nd place in a highly competitive 7-9 veteran class and won 1st place in Generations with her daughter Martha and grandson Pan. Looking forward to hopefully getting to show this fun girl in lots more veteran classes in the future!

Fall 2023, Gracie's kids made her proud by earning her both her ROM (Register of Merit) and VROM (Versatility Register of Merit). For the ROM her 5 Champion offspring were Duncan, Bane, Martha, Neo, and Noodles and for her VROM Neo & Noodle's VGSs earned her this distinction! Thanks kids for making your momma proud.
